Kim Allyn Maxwell, a lifelong resident of South Haven, passed away unexpectedly April 6, 2024. Kim, born August 14, 1954, graduated a member of the SHHS class of 1973. Kim was a creative quilter and needle worker and loyal member of South Haven’s Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Kim is preceded in death by her parents, E.G. and Lucie Diebold Maxwell. Kim is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Evans (Jeff Ward), her grandchildren: Patrick Rissman (Kiersten), Daniel Weakland-Higgins, Kaylie Higgins, and three great-grandchildren: Eli and Ellie Rissman and Roman Higgins. Also surviving are her siblings: Deb (Paul) Cornell, Lynne Maxwell, and E. Carter (Marie) Maxwell, her nieces and nephew, as well as numerous friends and relatives, especially James Diebold and Marie Hudson. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or Al-Van Humane Society. The family was assisted by Memorial Alternatives in Grand Rapids.
